How do we get back to the car? We take you back to
your car at the launch ramp.

How should we dress? Comfortable, casual with a light
jacket. We suggest sunglasses.

Will it be cold? Temperature is about 10 - 15 degrees
cooler than the air temperature in Redding. A down throw is available
on-board if needed - or you can just cuddle more.

Are there any mosquitoes? No, there are no mosquitoes
on the water.

What happens if the weather is bad? We reschedule for
rain or high winds.

Which days are you open? We do the Sunset Candlelight Dinner Cruise trips every day, all year round. The Brunch Cruises are offered on Saturdays & Sundays in the Spring & Fall. For the latest schedule and availability, check out the River Romance Cruises Calendar.

What time do the trips start? The dinner cruise begins
approximately 2 hours before sunset and the brunch cruises are at 11:00 am
and 12:30 pm.

How far in advance do I need to schedule a trip?
Our cruises are very popular, and during our busy season, in the more temperate months of the year, we highly recommend purchasing your tickets at least 2 - 3 weeks in advance to maximize your chance of getting the day and time you prefer. Of course, trips are subject to availability.

Can children go on the trip? Trips are geared more for
adults, however, children of at least 5 years old are welcome.

Is it safe? Relax, each of our oarsmen are experienced
in navigating the Sacramento River. The water is not fast moving and there are life jackets for each person on board.

Where do the trips depart from? Our drift boat cruises depart from a boat launch located near the Posse Grounds and conference center. The exact meeting location and detailed directions will be provided with your eTicket, after purchase.
